Moody Yachts - Moody 38
The Moody 38 is an evolutionary development of Moody's design principles. She is, in every way, a fine introduction to the Moody definition of performance cruising. The Moody 38 is certainly fast. Her centre cockpit performance hull, designed by Bill Dixon, has a long waterline to reduce resistance for fast passage times across the full range of conditions. She is stable and stiff under sail, thanks to the balanced water plane and flared hull sections aft. She is also easily sailed by two people. All the principal sail controls are to hand in the cockpit
