Moody 40 was based on the Moody 39 and had a larger aft cabin and different cockpit layout. The fo'c's'le has 2 separate berths convertible to a double. The forward heads has marine wc, hot and cold water, shower. Forward guest cabin: Situated on port side opposite to wc/shower compartment. Two single berths, one above the other. Dressing table, locker and hanging space. Saloon: U-shaped dinette to port with large lockers, starboard side forward there is a sizeable fixed chart table. Galley: aft of this is a spacious, well laid out galley area, hot and cold water supply, cooker, refrigerator. Owner's stateroom: Double berth, dressing table, wc including shower, and washbasin in separate compartment.
