The Moody 64 is a remarkably powerful boat, fully capable of fast passage times across the full range of conditions. Her stunning performance derives from the Bill Dixon's latest generation hull shape balances the power of the underwater sections and lead keel with the tall, high aspect ratio, hydraulically powered fully furling cutter rig with self-tacking stay sail. Despite her size, the Moody 64 is easily handled by two people. Sail controls and deck handling systems are powered and controlled from the cockpit with its twin steering wheels, padded helm seats and integrated instrument and engine consoles. The high level of specification also includes a 15hp bow thruster, chart plotter and generator. The Moody 64's raised saloon is breathtaking. It fully exploits the entire width of Bill Dixon's generous hull shape and, with its large side and forward-facing windows, has high levels of natural light and superb visibility. A flat screen TV, VCR and hi-fi are fitted as standard. The rest of the accommodation is equally magnificent. The massive owner's stateroom has full en-suite facilities and a flat screen TV. It is accessed through a study area, aft of the large and practical chart station, complete with fold-away sea berth. There are two guest cabins forwards, with two toilet and shower compartments, plus a separate skipper's cabin complete with its own facilities. The large galley has everything required for even ambitious catering, including a refrigerator and deep-freeze as standard.
