The Boardwalk at Port Solent

On The Boardwalk, you'll find a variety of restaurants and pubs from Italian, and Indian to pizza and even a 1950s style American diner. If you like to shop, you’ll love the eclectic mix of shops including ski and outdoor clothing, fashion footwear, books and the UK’s biggest chandlery. Things to do in the local area

There are some lovely walks on the open land to the south of the marina at Port Solent. The mediaeval Portchester Castle, built within the walls of a Roman fort, is a short walk or cycle away. Meanwhile, you’ll find the waterfront city of Portsmouth is just 18 minutes by train from Portchester station. Take a short trip inland to discover the beauty of the South Downs National Park and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park, where a walk up Butser Hill will give you amazing views.

The city of Portsmouth offers a wide selection of attractions. Explore the outlet shops, restaurants, nightclubs and entertainment at Gunwharf Quays.
