Marina: Southsea
Join fellow Berth Holders and marina visitors on Saturday 21st July for a 'cruise in company' - in conjunction with the RYA's 'Push the Boat Out' event which aims to get as many boat owners on the water as possible to showcase sailing to the nation - and show support for our 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailors.
Southsea Marina is excited to be getting into the spirit of the event with our very own 'push the boat out' cruise in company to the Nab Tower and back, followed by an evening's food and entertainment at the marina.
We've selected 'Caribbean' as the theme for our 'Push the Boat Out' cruise in company - and will be awarding a prize to the best dressed boat! The cruise in company will start at 11am, returning to the marina at around 5pm for an evening of food and entertainment.
There will also be a raffle with a host of fantastic prizes on offer. Tickets are now available from the Marina Reception and The Marina Bar and Cafe. The draw will take place on the evening of 21st July. Raffle tickets are £2.00 per ticket and all proceeds will go to The Rainbow Centre for Conductive Education.
First Prize - Two night weekend break for two at any Radisson Edwardian Blu Hotel in London, includes breakfast (use by 30.11.2012).
Second Prize - A trip over to the Isle of Wight on Squadron 57 for six, includes lunch (drinks excluded).
Third Prize - Annual subscription to Sailing Today magazine.

- A free lift, scrub and re-launch voucher for your boat, courtesy of Southsea Marina.
- £100 voucher for engineering and rigging services, courtesy of 1 Degree West Marine.
- One free buff and polish, courtesy of JWS Marine Services.
- Southsea Marina's Manager, Rupert Bremer will wash down your decks.
- A free application of anti-foul courtesy of Andy Primmett (paint to be supplied).
- One free lifejacket supplied by Ocean Safety.
- A two course Sunday lunch for two at the Marina Bar and Cafe.

More reasons to join in with 'Push the Boat Out'
During your voyage to the Nab Tower and back, a helicopter will fly over the fleet and will take photographs of the boats joining in with the cruise in company. These photographs will be available to purchase from Island Pictures, Southsea Marina's very own Berthing Master, Peter King's photographic shop. For £40 only you will have the opportunity to purchase an A4 mounted photograph of your own boat! All profits will go to 'Wings for Warriors', a unique charity helping injured soldiers re-build their lives.
