Sea Safety Checks at Falmouth Marina as part of the RYA Active Marina Programme

Falmouth Marina has joined the RYA Active Marina Programme and as part of this programme, the marina has been working with RYA training school, Cornish Cruising to develop a suite of activities aimed at helping Berth Holders to get the most out of boating and enhance the social side of marina life.


Following a successful 'Diesel Maintenance' course last month, Cornish Cruising will be holding 'Sea Safety sessions' on 8th and 9th August. Each session will last for up to two hours (if required) for Berth Holders wishing to take part.


The main boat checks will consist of the following:

  • Life saving equipment
  • Maintenance of safety equipment
  • Stowage
  • General safety checks
