Marina: Port Solent

We're pleased to say that Port Solent Marina's boat hoist refurbishment project is nearly complete.

The hoist has been out of service intermittently while it undergoes mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and a refurbishment of the electrical system.

The hoist was taken out of service for five working days at a quieter time of the year in order to minimise disruption to services. Additionally, much of the work was undertaken at weekends thereby having no impact or disruption to service. A high percentage of works were undertaken by Premier Marinas' own engineers.

Work to the hoist is still ongoing as the weather has delayed painting but we hope to progress with this very soon as work continues this weekend. The hoist remains fully operational whilst awaiting the painting. For lifting and launching services, please contact the Marina Reception.
