September was a busy month for Premier with the Southampton Boat Show and our own Premier Used Boat Show, followed by our Demo Weekend at the beginning of October.
Southampton International Boat Show sponsored by PSP was a great event as always. The weather held for us with glorious sunshine most days - we had a very successful show with great results.
We were very pleased to welcome our Berth Holders onto the stand to share in some Pimms on the Tuesday afternoon as well as welcoming Eddie Jordan, founder and former owner of Jordan Grand Prix, on to the stand as he is purchasing a new Elan.
We also launched the new Elan 380 with designer Rob Humphreys making a small presentation and the Island Packet 460 where Premier Yacht Sales were presented with the Island Packet Dealer of the Year Award by Bob Johnson, founder of Island Packet Yachts.
The Premier Used Boat Show at Swanwick Marina was held at the same time, this event although a little quieter than usual was also a great success, with some great deals done on some of the lovely boats for sale through our brokerage.
The Moody Owners Association and RNLI were both on site throughout the event as were Guy Salmon Land Rover, all of whom had much interest from the many visitors to the site.
Two weeks after the Southampton Boat Show we held a Demo Weekend at our Gosport Marina. The intention of this weekend was to invite visitors to our boats at Southampton to come and give them a go.
Unfortunately, the weather was not totally on our side and we had a fair amount of wind and rain which did result in several postponements!
However, those that did manage to go sailing had a fantastic time and saw what the boats are capable of!
