RIBShare will be arriving at Gosport Marina later this year with their first foray into the Solent.This successful East Coast operation are looking to set up their first boat at Gosport in May 09. Here is what the team from RIBshare have to say...

RIBshare is a fully managed, shared time, powerboat programme which is arriving in Gosport Premier Marina in 2009. Members pay a monthly membership fee offering a number of slots per month with two levels of membership available.
The new boat is at Cobra Nautique 755 Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) worth £40,000 to the offering fantastic performance and comfort.
Premier Marinas customers who sign up before the end of June 2009 will receive their first months membership FREE and will have access to one of the most desirable RIBs on the Solent.

Gosport already play host to Sailtime who offer a highly successful similar scheme. They currently have 3 yachts and a powerboat in the marina. Sailtime offer members a number of slots per month for a fully inclusive fee including berthing fees, maintenance and offer a great route for people to get into sailing. Operated out of Gosport by Andy Rees and Richard Lago, this operation has grown from strength to strength over the last 3 years.
