Roger Upham of Roger Upham Marine Electronics was last month awarded the first BMEA (British Marine Electronics Association) Newly Certificated Technician of the Year award.

Roger Upham, a tenant at Premier's Chichester Marina is well known both at Chichester and across the other Premier sites. The award "requires candidates to have experience working as marine electrical technicians, as well as undertaking training on best practice and working within the BMEA Code of Practice.  Candidates also have to complete an examination to receive full certification."

Roger Upham Marine Electronics have over 30 years experience in installing marine electronics products. They are set to continue this tradition as Roger's son Ian passed his NMEA Installers exam last week and is now a Certified Marine Electronics Installer. So a great month for the Upham family.

Premier are really pleased that Roger has been recognised with this award as it is a useful tool for customers to see that training in best practise and installation have been completed.  It is also great to see family business continue and grow.
