Premier's continued investment and development at our sites incudes pile replacement at Falmouth.

On Monday 10th May, Submarine Services of Falmouth brought a piling barge into Falmouth Marina and embarked on a programme of replacing six of the marina piles.

<FONT size=2>The reason for the replacement is that the old ones had rusted, producing holes below the water.  To allow the replacement to happen, eleven boats and pontoon fingers have had to be relocated and Falmouth Marina Manager John Osmond and his team thank the boat owners for their cooperation with moving from their familiar berths.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

<FONT size=2>Once the piles have been replaced the Marina Staff will embark on the next stage of the programme - re decking the Hammerheads with wider deck boards and placing new pile guides around the hammerhead piles.

<FONT size=2>Further improvements will commence on 24th May when the Main Marina Building is repainted with some refurbishment.
