Recycling

DOG WASTE

A dedicated dog waste bin is positioned close to the entrance of the marina.

BATTERIES

These should be disposed of in the boatyard in the specially marked batteries' bin.

BOAT FRIDGES AND FLARES

Marina staff can help advise you on how to dispose of these safely.

OIL AND OILY WASTE

There is an oil bund for waste oil in the boat yard. Alert marina reception immediately if there are any oil spills.

ANTI-FOUL CANS

Please deposit anti-foul cans in the anti foul container located in the boatyard.

REFUSE & RECYCLING

All Premier Marinas now have full recycling facilities on site. We ask that our customers help us to protect the environment by using these facilities, and in doing so, help to divert waste away from landfill sites. Premier Berth Holders will be provided with reusable, wipe-clean recycling bags. Visitors can obtain a multi-purpose recycling bag from any Premier marina office on request. Please make sure that you put your recyclables in the appropriate bin.  Food, general waste and non-recyclables should go into the household waste bins. This scheme is part of the National Maritime Recycling Scheme.

At Brighton general waste and recycling bins are located on the East and West Jetties with a yellow waste oil container. In the boatyard there are also a waste oil tank, bins and a container for anti foul cans. Bins are provided for all non-EU waste.
