TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(in conjunction with the Marina Rules & Regulations, copy available on request)

Vessels must arrive before 10:00 hours on the day of lift out.

  • Your signed application is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Marina Rules & Regulations.
  • Payment is to be made in full prior to lift.
  • Vessels classed as:
    Premier 12 Monthly Berth Holders and Premier Small Boat Offer: must be the same vessel as detailed on the owner's current annual berthing licence.  The berthing licence term does not expire before the vessels launch date. 
  • Cradles are subject to availability and their allocation is at the discretion of Premier Marinas Ltd.
  • Once a vessel is ashore the pit props, boat cradle or boat supports must not be tampered with in any way. These can only be altered by Premier Marinas Ltd staff. Owners must not attach boat covers to pit props or other supporting members.
  • Written quotations are based on the recorded boat length. Any changes or corrections of the boat length must be notified to Premier Marinas Ltd and additional charges will be levied. Premier Marinas Ltd reserves the right to measure all vessels to verify length overall.
  • Owners of racing, deep drafted, light displacement or non-production boats must declare any necessary information specific to their vessel with regards to the shoring and lifting.
  • If weather conditions, circumstances beyond the control of Premier Marinas Ltd or at the customer's request, the lifting and launching programme is altered Premier Marinas Ltd will endeavour to lift and launch when possible. No liability is accepted for delay. Every effort will be made to accommodate preferred dates and confirmed bookings, however we are subject to weather and plant constraints and must therefore reserve the right to carry out any work within our operating capacity.
  • If the relaunch date is altered at the request of the customer additional charges may be applied.
  • Storage rates for catamarans will be calculated on length x breath, quotations on request.
  • Electricity and water supply is strictly subject to availability and is not guaranteed. If electricity supply is allocated, owners are responsible for providing sufficient cable length of adequate rating.
  • The storing of masts in the racks is subject to availability.
  • Premier Marinas Ltd cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to your property whilst your vessel is ashore at Brighton Marina.
  • Vessels before being lifted ashore must remove all equipment that causes unnecessary windage. All sails, spray hoods and dodgers etc. must be removed. No vessels will be lifted unless the above has been removed. Vessels with sails on will not be lifted.
  • Vessels having their masts unstepped must remove their sails, deck running lines and disconnect all electrical wiring to allow a straight lift from the mast step. Premier Marinas do not refit running rigging or electrical equipment.
  • Special attention should be paid to Premier Marinas Ltd Rules & Regulations article 4.1.
  • All through hull protruding transducers must be removed prior to lift to yard.
  •  No person may reside aboard any vessel that is ashore.
  •  Any person wishing to sand, grind, antifoul or paint metal must obtain permission from Premier Marinas prior to commencement. It will your responsibility to ensure that the area is sheeted off to prevent damage, particle or dust nuisance to any other vessel.
  • The area around your vessel is to be kept clean and tidy, a charge will be incurred otherwise.
  • Oil and paint waste is not to be put in the normal bins, please use the special bins provided.
  • If towage is requested, this is subject to availability and favourable weather conditions and is not guaranteed to occur on the day of Lift or Launch, we reserve the right to move the vessel prior to the lift date and after the launch date.
  • No works shall be carried out causing noise outside the of following hours Mon -Fri 0800-1730 hours, Saturday 0800-1300 hours, Sunday at any time.
