Facilities for you

At Chichester marina there are many facilities to make your stay with us as comfortable and as pleasurable as possible. Listed below are the most key facilities for your comfort. If you have any questions or wish to talk to our marina manager or staff regarding our facilities please contact us.

Toilet and showers

Onsite you have 24 hr access to the toilets and showers. They are cleaned 3 times a day and generally no queuing is required. We have a total of 4 shower blocks at Chichester, inlcuding:

  • Z Block 3 Showers and 2 toilets (Ladies)
  • Z Block 3 Showers and 2 toilets (Mens)
  • R Block 3 Showers and 2 toilets (Mens)
  • R Block 3 Showers and 2 toilets (Ladies)
  • H Block 6 Showers and 7 toilets (Mens)
  • H Block 6 Showers and 8 toilets Ladies plus disabled shower
  • D Block 5 Showers and 4 toilets (Mens)
  • D Block 3 Showers and 4 toilets

Launderette

We have an onsite launderette with 6 washing machines and 10 tumble dryers. Washing detergent and fabric softener is available to buy from the onsite shop Galley Stores. Change for the machines can be obtained from the shop or bar (£3.00 per wash / £0.80 dryer). The machines accept £1, 50p and 20p coins.

The machine usage is first come first served and in the spring / summer months demand can be high in the morning and early evening. Irons are available within the laundry room itself but may not be removed. The launderette is situated behind H ablutions and is open 24 hours a day all year.

Convenience store

The Galley Stores sells all the essentials so should you have forgotten your toothbrush, don't despair. We sell papers, refrigerated goods, ice, general provisions and basic clothing items as well as all the essentials no sailor should be without. You can also get cashback in the store.

The convenience store is open:

  • Summer (April to October) 08.30am to 6.00pm
    Late opening in Summer only: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday until 19.30pm
  • Winter (November to March) 09.00am to 4.00pm.

Bar & Restaurants

There are two restaurants on site. The Spinnaker Bar located adjacent to the Chandlery and the Chichester Yacht Club adjacent to the canal lock. Both welcome visitors to the marina.

The Spinnaker Bar is famous for its informal, friendly atmosphere and great food. There is usually no need to book, although on weekends making a reservation will guarantee seating larger parties. We have designated smoking area and outside seating for the warmer months. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

  • Chichester Yacht Club can be contacted on 01243 512918.

    The opening hours at Chichester Yacht Club are:
  • Mon - Thurs  11.00am to 11.00pm. Food is served till 10.00pm.
  • Fri and Saturday 10.00am to 11.00pm. Food is served till 10.30pm.
  • Sunday 10.00am to 11.00pm. A Sunday roast is served from 11.00am till 6.00pm. Other food is available till 10.30pm.

Telephone

There are several pay telephones located throughout the marina; public telephones are located adjacent to 'R' and 'H' ablution blocks, both accept FREE calls to the marina reception. There is an additional public telephone in the Spinnaker Bar.

Wireless internet access

Check your emails and surf from the comfort of your own boat with Ocean Wave. Full details at www.myoceanwave.co.uk  Charges - £5 per day, £10 per week, £12.50 per month or £100 annually.

Post box

The post box is located close to H block ablutions.

Post collection point

You may have post sent to you at Chichester Marina during your stay with us. The post collection point is located at Chichester Marina reception. We require proof of identity such as a driver's license or passport when picking up your mail. We are able to sign for delivery of such items such as recorded or special delivery items and whilst we ensure your post is kept safe at all time we are unable to accept responsibility for missing or undelivered items.

Post can be collected between the hours of 10.30amd and 6.00pm.

Marina reception should be your first point of call if you require any information or guidance.

Refuse & recycling at Chichester Marina

Waste oil may be left in the oil bin at the top of each bridgehead. Flares may be disposed of at the Chandlery. Recycling bins for paper, glass and tins are located at 'D', 'L' and 'R' pontoons. Bins for all non EU waste are provided at the marina office.
