Eating at Chichester Marina
The on-site Spinnaker Restaurant offers a good range. Chichester Yacht Club has bar meals and a restaurant and welcomes visiting yachtsmen and women. There are many good places to eat nearby; the Black Horse on Stockbridge Road, just outside the marina, The Crown & Anchor at Dell Quay, The Ship at Itchenor, Blacksmiths at Old Donnington and Crouchers Hotel in Stockbridge Road.
Groceries
The Galley Stores are on-site for general provisions. Two miles from the marina, Birdham village has a convenience store and post office.
Distance to Chichester
Chichester is a 10-minute taxi ride, or you can wander alongside the Chichester Canal into the historic city to experience its eclectic mix of restaurants and shops.

Chichester Festival Theatre stages many excellent productions. Book tickets early to avoid disappointment. Tel 01243 781312. www.cft.org.uk Visit the stately homes of Uppark, Goodwood House, and Stansted Park. Goodwood Festival of Speed - the world's biggest celebration of motor sport runs from June 22 - June 24. High on the Sussex Downs, Goodwood Racecourse holds regular flat meets from May to October.
Free Flow
We can run Free Flow as the tide reaches the level of the marina basin. It is indicated by a flashing orange light. During Neap Tides and extreme Spring High Tides, Free Flow is not possible.
Sheltered cruising grounds if the weather is too rough for a trip out on the Solent
Chichester Harbour is ideal for sailors of all abilities. The waters closest to the marina are extremely sheltered and great to practice dinghy sailing. Sailors from Chichester Marina who have paid Chichester harbour dues can visit Langstone Harbour without paying its dues.
