Dry Stack Update

5th April - This is the area where the forklift will launch the boats into the water, the area is being reinforced and they are hoping to pour the concrete next week. It will then take about 10 to 14 days to cure.

5th April - These are the foundations for the dry stack, a 2m holes has been dug and then re-filled up to 1m with concrete. A base plate has been set into the concrete where the racking system will be bolted onto, the remainder of the hole will be fille

26th April - This photograph shows the first stage of the dry stack framework installation, a 50 ton crane has been on site to lift the steel beams into place. Once the outer framework is complete the individual bays will be situated in place.

26th April - When boats are launched from the dry stack they will be placed in our new ‘dry stack holding area’. The pontoons are linked to the main marina so customers can gain access through the security gate to their boat.

3rd May - The launch bay is now almost complete and the waiting pontoons are now in place.

3rd May - The racking is up and we are in the process of final fit out!

10th May - The framework is completed and all of its 80 dry berths are installed and awaiting their first hulls.
