World Debut of the Moody 45DSe
New Moody 45 DS draws in the crowds
Premier Yacht Sales are pleased to announce that this weekend's official unveiling of the new Moody 45DSe at Swanwick Marina was a complete success, with 100s of people turning up to view the boat throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend long event started at the Royal Southern Yacht Club on the River Hamble on Friday - where press were given the opportunity to view the boat for the first time and later were able to get out on the water for a sail.
The new boat was then brought back to Swanwick Marina for the rest of the weekend and was available for public viewing on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors enjoyed excellent weather and a glass of champagne as they made history, being among the first people in the world to view the new Moody. Overall first impressions and feedback have been extremely positive, people were impressed by the build quality, the excellent finish and the bold new look.
The Moody brand is one of the best known names in the marine industry. Well respected throughout the world for impeccable quality of build; outstanding strength and sailing ability and it would seem that these characteristics have been carried forward into the new generation of Moody by designer Bill Dixon and manufacturers, Hanse Yacht Group.
This latest model is a totally new look for the brand, with the concept of 'one level living'. The saloon and galley are at the same level as the cockpit, meaning whoever is in charge of the galley can keep in touch with the helm and see what is going on without any difficulty.
Hull #1 is available at Swanwick now for test sails and viewings, hull 2 & 3 will be available later this month.
