ASSISTANT MARINA MANAGER
Assistant Marina Manager at Brighton Marina
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Brighton Marina's dedicated management team. You would be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the UK's largest, busiest and most vibrant marina. Duties will include ensuring good customer liaison with over 1500 berths holders, daily visiting boats, on site tenants and contractors making this a challenging and demanding role for the right person.
Applying to work at this level for a leading marina operator you will need to be able to demonstrate at interview a proven track record in exemplary customer service with excellent communication skills, H&S understanding and awareness together with good computer knowledge of Excel and Word programs. Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential along with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
The role requires working within a rota system, including Bank Holidays and weekends. Experience of working within a marina, the marine environment or similar arenas would be advantageous but not essential. The successful applicant must be within easy access to the marina in case of an emergency whilst assuming responsibility as Duty Manager.
