Swanwick Marina FAQs
Q. Where can I eat?
A. We have our newly opened on-site restaurant, Velshedas. The Ship and The Spinnaker pub are both within easy walking distance. Staff at marina reception will give you directions.
Q. What is the best way to explore the River Hamble?
A. Many of our berth holders like to sail up river in their dinghies and have a meal at The Horse and Jockey in Burridge towards the top of the River Hamble. There are also short stay berths at Warsash and Hamble Quay for embarking and disembarking passengers.
Q. Are there any good walks from the marina?
A. There is a nice walk down to Warsash where you can catch the ferry over to Hamble and have a meal at The Bugle, then walk back on the other side of the River, or re-trace your steps, via the ferry. There are also nice walks up the River Hamble.
Q. Where can I stock up on provisions?
A. Basic groceries may be obtained from the chandlery or One Stop at Sarisbury Green, while the nearest supermarket is Tesco, about half a mile from the marina.

A. The nearest Post Office is at Park Gate which is five minutes drive from the marina. There is a postal delivery and collection service available at the marina office.
