Seasonal Staff

Looking to gain valuable work experience, or would you just like a part-time job with a bit more to it? A seasonal job with Premier may be for you. We’re currently recruiting staff to work on a flexible basis between March and October 2020 – to include some weekends and evenings.

Benefits:

  • Can dovetail well with education term times
  • Variety of customer service based tasks in and outdoors 
  • Boating experience an asset – but not necessary

Berthing Master - Gosport Marina

Premier Marinas are seeking to appoint a Berthing Master to work at Gosport Marina. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Proven customer service or customer facing experience 
  • Must have a “can do” attitude
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be able to stay calm under pressure
  • Be computer literate

The following would be advantageous but not essential:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience of boat handling
  • Local knowledge of Portsmouth Harbour sailing area and cruising grounds

You will be working 12 hour night shifts as per a duty rota and will include some weekends and Bank/Public holidays. The successful candidate may be required to work at other local Premier Marinas‘ sites.

Lock Keeper - Chichester Marina

Chichester Marina, a Premier Marinas 5 Gold Anchor accredited marina, is seeking to appoint a full time Lock Keeper. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction running a busy marina in a great location within Chichester Harbour. 

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following in order to qualify for consideration:

  • Proven customer service or customer facing experience 
  • Must have a “can do” attitude
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be able to stay calm under pressure
  • Be computer literate

The following would be advantageous but not essential:

  • Experience of boat handling and a local knowledge of Chichester Harbour’s sailing areas and cruising grounds

You will be working as per duty rota to include nights, weekends, Bank/Public holidays on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern or this position could suit someone wishing to work a night shift only rota on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour pattern.
