Falmouth Cooking and Dining Experience

Sit back in good company and learn invaluable tips and tricks from an expert Rick Stein chef with years of experience in the industry - a fantastic gift for super foodies and boat owners who wish to introduce some culinary flair at sea. 

Your experience begins on arrival at Falmouth Marina on the evening of Saturday 9th February*, where you will be greeted by Nick Evans, Head Chef Lecturer at Rick Stein’s Cookery School in Padstow - what he doesn’t know about fish isn’t worth knowing! 

Enjoy an informal, relaxed one hour demonstration where you'll be taught two one pot recipes; a punchy Spanish squid paella, Arroz a la Marinera, taken from Rick Stein’s ‘Mediterranean Escapes’ book and a creamy cashew nut curry with pilau rice. Plus, taught some handy techniques that will help you in the kitchen at home or on your boat. 

You'll be able to taste the dishes being served, and enjoy a glass of bubbly too! At the end of the session you'll be given a full recipe pack, so you can replicate these delicious dishes at home. 

A taxi will then take you to Rick Stein’s renowned fish restaurant in Falmouth, where you will enjoy a three course dinner as a group; classic fish and chips are at the heart of the menu or you may want to choose the fish special of the day. Plus, tuck into a sharing platter to start, finished off with a dessert and accompanied by half a bottle of house wine – all for £55 per person
