Marina Matters Dry Stack Update
Following on from the recent dry stack Marina Matters meeting on the 3rd November 2018, Premier Marinas Gosport was able to take on board the feedback offered on their service by the customers, and start finding solutions to issues raised.
It was brought to Premiers attention that there are occasions of limited dry stack pontoon availability. Moving forward the dry stack pool will be determined as a 24hr only area, with boaters wishing to stay longer allocated space on the north side of ‘Q’ pontoon, or offered space elsewhere within the marina. Premier is also increasing the number of water stand pipes along the pontoon by an additional three as requested by dry stack customers.
Supporting this the replacement of the finger pontoons on the north of ‘Q’ pontoon is in progress, with the re-fitting of three fingers which will lead to improved access with the re-design of the pontoons. In total there will be between 20/25 waterside berths.
