Excitement At Eastbourne Airshow
The Eastbourne International Air Show 2019 was a big hit despite the weather threatening to completely disrupt proceedings. Starting on Thursday 15th August 2019, the 4 days of the show saw a range of different displays including Chinooks, wing walkers, MiG-15’s, a Lancaster Bomber, The Blades (ex Red Arrow pilots), Tigers parachute display and the world’s largest civilian display team the Breitling Jets who were making their Sussex debut.
With the Thursday line-up heavily affected by the weather, there were a lot of displays cancelled, however this was more than made up for over the following few days with the high winds unable to break the spirits of those who made the trip down to see the spectacle and take part!
Sovereign Harbour Marina hopes all those that got down for the show were able to enjoy it despite the weather and look forward again to next year’s show.
