Southsea Smartens & Improves Pontoon Facilities
Southsea Marina is taking the opportunity to refresh the look of the marina piles with a lick of paint. The marina will also be deploying additional electric sockets to J pontoon and additional hose stands to the main walkway. This work is set to take place in March 2019 at a cost of £25,000.
Additional electric sockets are being introduced to J pontoon to make it easier for berth holders to be able to use these facilities, Southsea Marina is also increasing the number of hose stands to the main walkway. These changes come as a result of the ongoing customer feedback questionnaires and from the Marina Matters meetings held with berth holders.
Rupert Bremer, Marina Manager at Southsea Marina said, “I am delighted that we can continue to invest in maintaining the site to a high standard and also respond to comments that have come out of the customer feedback process.”
These improvements will help make the marina a smarter, more user friendly facility for berth holders and other guests.
