Approach Channel Dredging Completed
This year’s annual maintenance dredging campaign is complete, with approximately 38,000 cubic metres of material removed from the channel by dredger ‘Sospan Dau’. The dredging campaign lasted 8 days, with roughly the same amount of material removed as last year but slightly quicker thanks to the good weather. Just a reminder, the navigation buoys will be re-instated shortly after maintenance so please be careful navigating the channel and keep an eye on current Mariners Notices.
Below is a survey detailing the channel depth of the approach into the marina. Although not for navigation purposes, it may be useful for berth holders to have a visual guide of the depths of the Sovereign Harbour channel approach.
