Marina Open Day and Boat Jumble
The marina team at Sovereign Harbour is working in conjunction with the Sovereign Harbour Berth Holders Association (SHBHA) to host a marina open day and boat jumble. Berth holders may remember the last boat jumble, with this year set to be even bigger and better with lots of offers and sea safety advice available.
The open day will be held on Saturday 13th April from 10:00 – 16:00 by the boatyard, guests include the RNLI Sea Safety Team who will be there to offer onboard safety checks and lifejacket clinics; HM Coastguard teams; RYA training schools, boat brokers and marina tenants will also attend.
There will also be Premier Self-Store representatives to speak to as well as members of The Berth Holder’s Association and the Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club (SHYC). Also present for those interested in purchasing a new boat will be Bates Wharf and some Brighton based brokers for viewings on a selection of boats on site.
Daniel Heckford, Sovereign Harbour Marina Manager said, “Building on the the success of last year’s safety weekend, the SHBHA and Premier Marinas are again holding an open day with a boat jumble before the season gets into full swing. This will be a great opportunity for berth holders to take full advantage on what will be on offer, from the RNLI Sea Safety Team to once again provide those all-important checks before the season starts.” More information will be released closer to the event.
