The Boat House Is Now Open For Business
Premier Gosport is delighted to announce that its onsite café, The Boat House has now reopened following the Government’s recent announcement.
To ensure the safety of all staff and guests, The Boat House underwent a deep clean and new social distancing measures have been introduced, following a full risk assessment. Screen visors, hand-sanitising stations and a one-way system throughout the café are some of the changes, with tables spaced 1-2 meters apart. All staff have been provided with full PPE and their temperatures are checked before every shift.
Owner, Annie Kettle said: “I was quite nervous about reopening at first but the feedback we have received from our regular customers has been overwhelmingly supportive. Our customers are grateful to have some sense of normality back, even if it’s as simple as a coffee, cake and a catch up!”
The Boat House is open every day from 9am to 4pm in July, extending to 6pm in August and they also plan to offer the Government’s ‘eat out to help out’ scheme next month, offering 50% off food Monday to Wednesday, up to a maximum of £10 per person.
To maintain social distancing, the restaurant is capped to 24 guests at one time and all printed menus have been replaced with blackboards and QR codes, which allows customers to see the full menu on The Boat House website. Customers are asked to provide contact details upon entry as part of the Government’s ‘Track and Trace’ system and are advised to pre-book a table on their website: https://www.theboathousegosport.co.uk/
