Chichester welcomes a New Duty Manager

We are delighted to welcome Henry Liddell to the Chichester Marina team as our new Duty Manager, following Matthew Leigh’s move to Premier’s flagship marina at Swanwick.

Recently moving back to the UK after a period living and working in the United Arab Emirates, Henry has a managerial background within the construction industry and has had the opportunity to gain vast experience working with different colleagues and customers with a diverse range of cultures.

Henry has a passion for all things maritime, having earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Navigation and Maritime Science from Plymouth University and spent his summers working as a Launch Man for the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes. "I am thrilled to be working for an organisation that has such a high standing in the marina industry," Henry says. “I'm looking forward to the challenges that will arise as I settle into my new role as Duty Manager, and I'm excited to begin meeting berth holders as the season starts - please do come and say hello if you see me around the marina!"

In his spare time Henry races dinghies (one of which was the 18ft skiff ‘Ella Bache’ which found a home at his local Dubai Offshore Sailing Club) and keel boats in the sailing club’s Commodores Cup series. When he's not on a boat, he can be found spearfishing, kitesurfing, surfing, competing in surf-ski races, or dune bashing.
