Diving Operations Mary Rose Wreck Site

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Queen’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that diving operations will be undertaken by the Mary Rose Trust in the vicinity of the charted historic wreck site, west of the Main Portsmouth Approach Channel, in position 50°45.46N 001°06.11W. The works will be carried out during a five day period sometime between 23 September and 12 October 2017 as weather permits.

2. The operations will be conducted from the black and white monohull craft “TERSCHELLING” (LOA 40.0m) which will be held on station, using a four point mooring. The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 11 during operations, and display flag ALFA at all times when diving is taking place.

3. Mariners are asked to use appropriate speed and allow sufficient distance when passing in the vicinity during diving operations.

4. This notice will be cancelled on 17 October 2017.
