Falmouth Port Notice to Mariners No 1 of 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following port notices to mariners remain in force.
Port Notice: No’s 2 of 2012, 6 of 2016, 8 of 2017, 26a of 2017, 19 of 2019, 34 of 2019, 36 of 2019, 38 of 2019 & 39 of 2019.
1. Vessels arriving at Falmouth are required to give sufficient notice and information as required by the Merchant Shipping (Vessel Traffic Monitoring and Reporting Requirements) Regulations 2004 (as amended) Details of these requirements can be obtained from MSN1831 (M + F) & MGN 438, both notices are available from the MCA web site and further details from the important notices section on our website https://www.falmouthharbour.co.uk/doc-category/notices-to-agents.
2. Vessel Masters are reminded that no commercial vessel should immobilise their main engines whilst at anchor in the Cross Roads, Carrick Roads or Falmouth Bay, without permission from the Harbour Office or after compliance with any directions made by the Harbour Master.
