Langstone Harbour Notice to Mariners No 12 of 2020
We have been following Government advice in respect of Coronavirus and have closed public slipways to limit health risks to port users, our staff, emergency services and the public (Local Notice No.10/2020 refers).
In accordance with recent Government guidance, we will not be able to re-open our facilities until risk assessments have been carried out and suitable measures put in place to preserve social distancing and minimise the risk of infection to our staff, customers and members of the public. We are working to comply with these safety requirements as soon as possible but our slipways will not be re-opened until after the weekend 16/17 May.
In the meantime, for the safety of everyone we would ask that recreational marine leisure users remain patient and abide by Government advice for hygiene and social distancing as we continue to cooperate with Government to keep our facilities safe and healthy.
