New residents at Noss on Dart
Date:
The Dart estuary has long been home to a colony of grey seals and this bob of seals has been enjoying basking in the sunshine on M pontoon, taking advantage of the reduced footfall!
Seals often follow fish up the River Dart and often haul themselves out onto rocks, mud flats and pontoons to sunbathe in the afternoons.
Beware getting too close to these creatures, however, in case they become frightened and bite!
