Gosport Marina welcomes two new Duty Managers
Date:
This summer, Gosport welcomed two new Duty managers to the team. Between them they have a wealth of experience to draw upon in their new roles.
Ali Lilley is a keen dinghy sailor and has volunteered with the Jubilee Sailing Trust aboard the Tenacious and the Lord Nelson. She’s worked her way up through various roles in Gosport marina in Berthing and Dry Stack. Ali loves this role because she can apply her broad experience to a varied role where there is always a new challenge to get stuck into.
Rachel Lasham has worked for Premier Marinas for over 15 years, working in a variety of roles. Keen to develop her skills on the job, Rachel she has completed the RYA Day Skipper Theory course, the RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling course, and both B1 and B2 Counterbalance Lift truck Operator courses to be able to confidently operate the Dry Stack Facility. Working in all these roles throughout her career at Premier has built a great foundation to take on the role of Duty Manager.
Rachel has been very busy this year training for her biggest challenge yet - the 2022 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Rowing Challenge which she is tackling with three other Premier Marina employees. Watch this space to follow their progress.
