Visiting Chichester

Chichester Marina and its environs boast an interesting mix of countryside, coast and city and there’s no better place to explore the South Coast marina. From Roman Villas to art galleries and a planetarium, to the Tudor market cross and Chichester’s Norman Cathedral. Shopaholics love Chichester too for its unique boutiques, lively market and high street shops. Aside from shopping, there’s the opportunity to enjoy a night at the theatre, try a trendy restaurant or pop over to Goodwood where there’s always lots going on in Chichester. Find out more here.

If you prefer rural activities, you can explore Chichester Harbour by bicycle on the Salterns Way cycle route. Chichester Marina is home to App-Bikes, so there is no need to bring your own, located along the main approach road opposite Egremont bridge. The bikes can be used by anyone - with berth holders eligible for a 50% discount* on the normal annual rate. Salterns Way is an 18km cycle route from the centre of Chichester to the sand dunes of East Head. The route follows rural roads and cycle paths through the countryside. It has been funded by the Heritage lottery fund and is managed by Chichester Harbour Conservancy. Find out more here.
