Chichester Harbour by bicycle

It’s easy to explore Chichester Harbour from the marina by bicycle. Chichester Marina is home to App-Bikes. Located on the main approach road opposite Egremont Bridge, the bikes can be used by anyone, with berth holders eligible for a 50 per cent discount on the annual fee. The 18km Salterns Way cycle route passes the marina and runs from the centre of Chichester to the sand dunes of East Head following rural roads and cycle paths.

Things to do in the local area

The stunning South Downs National Park, just inland from the coast, stretches from Winchester to Eastbourne. Explore Arundel’s riverside tea rooms or visit the National Trust’s Petworth House. The market town of Arundel is home to the impressive Arundel Castle and Arundel Cathedral. You’re also not far from Portsmouth and Southampton to the west, and Brighton to the east.
