Notice is hereby given that:

Preparation and dredge operations in the entrance channel and additional areas in the marina basin are due to commence on or after week commencing 6th May 2024. A spud leg backhoe dredger Witton length of 22.5m and a beam of 9m will be working in conjunction with hopper barges Split 2, 42m long and beam of 8.4m or Split 3 52m long and 9m in beam.

All vessels are restricted in their ability to manoeuvre and will restrict width within the marina entrance channel and at times within the marina. These vessels will display day signals in accordance with International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 (COLREGS), Marine Safety Act and Marine Safety Regulations

All vessels must monitor VHF 80 and comply with all VHF announcements given by Brighton Marina when transiting around the marina or entrance, vessel traffic will be regularly suspended during these works.
