Customer Service Advisor - Brighton Marina

Brighton Marina is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor. The role will require a person who can focus on providing excellent customer service, enquiry handling, office administration, contract and finance management, whilst juggling the demands of a busy office. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a firm understanding of:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Develop new initiatives to enhance and streamline the business
  • Ensure that deadlines are met
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good IT Skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • 'Can do' attitude and flexible approach to team work

This role does include some outdoor working in all weathers and will be part of a shift rota which includes some weekends and bank/public holidays.

Previous experience and knowledge of boats would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given where required.

Marina Operative - Chichester Marina

We are looking to recruit two customer focused, outgoing individuals with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service at Chichester Marina. As the face and personality of Premier Marinas you will play a vital part in how we are viewed by berth holders and visitors to our site. You must have pride in yourself, the quality of your work and your place of work and a flexible work ethic. The successful candidates should be experienced working both as part of a team as well as on their own.

The personal qualities we are looking for are:

  • Professional friendly manner
  • Ability and willingness to work on own initiative and to be proactive
  • Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility

Dockmaster – Falmouth Marina

The position of Dockmaster has become available at Falmouth Marina. Working as part of a small hardworking team this multi-facetted role will include but is not limited to: working in the boatyard & dry stack (including plant operation) on the pontoons and also the marina reception. Carrying out regular site patrols, general marina maintenance, dealing with and recording vessel movements in and out of the marina, welcoming visitors, selling fuel and compiling handover reports.

A knowledge of boats and experience of driving plant would be an advantage but not essential as training, where required, will be given.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service
  • Flexibility and adaptability to both marina and boat yard operations
  • Ability to learn and use computer software systems
  • “A can do” attitude and a flexible approach to teamwork

This role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions on a shift pattern that covers a 7 day week operation. The successful applicant would be required to work some weekends plus bank and public holidays as per the duty rota. Potential candidates must have the ability to swim and a full UK driving license is essential.

Premier Marinas Head Office Vacancy: Specialist Sales Advisor

We are looking to recruit a full time Specialist Sales Advisor with a focus on converting berthing enquiries into Marina tours and securing the renewals of existing berth holders there is scope to work out of Premier’s south coast marinas, as well as from the Swanwick Head Office, which will be the base.

The candidate will probably be a keen sailor and may already have experience of working in the marine industry. In time they will need to have an excellent knowledge of all Premier products on offer and the facilities and set up of each site. They will need to be flexible and be able to adapt their hours to meet the demands of the business and be prepared to attend customer events. A more detailed Job Description is available on request. Working within a small sales team the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
