Berthing Master - Brighton Marina

In a very busy marina, the Berthing Master is required to provide high levels of customer service. They deal with vessel movements in and out of the marina, boat handling/towing, handling money and recording data both within the office and on the pontoons and fuel bay whilst maximising the opportunity to sell our marina services to berth holders and visitors.

Berthing Masters work a 12 hour shift pattern covering 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, including Bank and Public holidays, inclusive of Christmas and New Year.

Knowledge of boats, cash handling and computer literacy are preferable along with first class customer service skills and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Premier Marinas have a reputation for excellent standards of customer service and therefore a positive “can do” attitude with flexibility to work unsociable hours is essential.

Part Time Seasonal Support - Premier Marinas

Premier’s now recruiting for spring/summer seasonal support staff to work at its marinas. This is a great opportunity for individuals to learn new skills whilst enjoying working life in a unique environment. Successful applicants will be flexible, reliable and keen to be part of a team. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary (sometimes at short notice) to include day, evening, night, weekend and bank holiday work – occasionally across more than one local marina. Duties may include:
  • Assisting with administration
  • Serving fuel
  • Moving boats
  • Greeting customers
  • Carrying out boat checks
  • Assisting with lock operations
