Brighton Marina

24-hour Security

Premier Marinas Brighton are equipped with CCTV cameras throughout the marina. CCTV is also situated within the car parks, including those underground and in the gated boatyard compound. 

 

The Marina operates an access control system, with Premier Marina's berth holders and visitors using control access key fobs to access the facilities, pontoons and main jetties. The Marina is also staffed 24/7 to ensure vigilance over the site, to compliment Premiers security, Brighton Marina Estate also has security provisions in place. 

 

Brighton Marina Estate’s Security team is led in its entirety by Colin Tribe who has worked in Brighton Marina for over nineteen years and is currently a warranted special constable with Sussex Police in his spare time. Colin, as Security Director, oversees the security contract team. There is a core team of 14 security officers backed up by their management team, with additional staff joining the team on events and special occasions. Colin and his team aim to ensure that the South Coast marina is a safe, secure and enjoyable location to visit and experience. There is a dedicated and staffed security control room which is open 24/7, 365 days to help all marina residents, berth holders, visitors and tenants.

 

Alongside Premier Marinas' own security measures, Premier is also committed to supporting Project Kraken - a joint coastal crime prevention initiative that’s delivered by the National Crime Agency, Border Force and Police.
