Frequently asked questions

Why should I recommend Premier Marinas to my clients?
Premier owns and operates ten of the most prestigious marinas on the south coast including FalmouthNoss on DartSwanwickUniversalGosportPort SolentSouthseaChichesterBrighton and Sovereign Harbour Marina in Eastbourne. Together these marinas provide over 5,000 pontoon berths with storage ashore for up to 2,000 boats - we also offer dry stacks at Gosport, Swanwick and Falmouth.

All Premier marinas are constantly monitored for levels of customer care, and we are committed to offering first-class facilities and services from providing fuel at cost, right down to making sure that customers’ boats are regularly checked in high winds and at high or low states of tide. We also operate 24-hour, year-round manned security systems, CCTV and restricted access to marinas and jetties - all of which means that security risks are reduced for our berth holders and their insurers alike.

Are there any other benefits to berthing with Premier?
All annual berth holders with Premier Marinas are entitled to the "Premier Advantage", an exclusive range of benefits that includes 42 free visitor nights at other Premier Marinas; fuel at cost; a minimum of 8 weeks inclusive storage ashore and loyalty reward credit. Read more about the Premier Advantage here.
Premier Marinas, in conjunction with GJW Direct also offers a competitive marine insurance scheme, Premier Marine Insurance. This scheme includes exclusive benefits for Premier berth holders. Your client can call 0151 473 8073 or visit www.premiermarineinsurance.co.uk for an instant quote.

What do I need to do to benefit from this commission scheme?

1. Firstly you need to apply to join the scheme, to register, please click here to complete the registration form.

2. Once you are registered on the scheme, you will then need to complete this short online referral form for each of your clients that enquire about berthing, stating;

  • the client's name
  • telephone number
  • email address
  • boat length
  • preferred Premier Marina
  • expected contract start date
  • if the client would like a free trial night

3. Premier will handle the enquiry from this point and will contact the client directly to discuss their requirements.

4. You will need to provide an invoice to claim your commission – click here to find out what our current commission rates are. Your invoice will then be processed and payment will follow.

What if there is no availability at my client's first choice marina?

If there's no availability at your client's first choice marina then we will make sure the enquiry is passed onto a 2nd and 3rd choice marina if applicable.

My client is interested in monthly or short term berthing with Premier, can I benefit from the scheme?
No, the commission scheme only applies when a client you referred signs a 12 month berthing contract.

I would like to pass some of my commission onto my client, can you facilitate this as a discount on their berthing fee?
No, when the client signs a 12 month contract, they will be paying the full berthing fee to Premier Marinas Ltd. Premier will not enter into any conversation with the client about discounts.

To reiterate - it is up to you how you pass this incentive on to your clients or if you do so at all. It is an incentive for you to introduce clients to us. If you choose to pass the benefit on then the transaction needs to be directly between you and the client.

What happens if my client decides after six months that he/she would like to move marinas is this possible?
Depending upon availability it may be possible to swap to another Premier marina. This would be at the discretion of the marina managers and subject to an adjustment to the berthing fee.

How can I check the price of a berth with Premier?
We have a very transparent pricing policy. You can get an instant berthing quote online here. All you have to do is select the boat length and the marina. It's easy!

What happens if a customer introduced by me terminates their contract within the twelve month contract period?

If the client terminates their contract or defaults on their monthly direct debit payments, before the end of the twelve month period Premier will have the right to invoice you for a pro rata refund of the commission paid.

How long does this offer last for?

Premier Marinas Ltd reserves the right to alter or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice. The offer also only applies to one year’s berthing with Premier Marinas Ltd or its subsidiaries.

How is the commission calculated?
Commission is calculated on Premier Marinas list price for pay annual 12 month berthing, up to a maximum of £500 net of VAT.
