Boatyard Segregation Works At Port Solent Marina
Port Solent Marina has recently installed new fencing around the western boat park to segregate the boatyard facilities. The new permanent fencing will help increase security around the boatyard areas and provide a safer place to store your boats ashore, by ensuring that boats and pedestrians are kept apart.
This work helps Premier comply with the ISO45001 health and safety standards which has led to Premier becoming the first marina group in the UK to be put forward for this accreditation. This latest work on the boatyard segregation has had an investment of £20,000 from Premier, with similar works to be done to the eastern boat park set to be completed next autumn.
Mark Phillp CMM, Marina Manager at Port Solent Marina said, “I am pleased to have installed the fencing to the back of the western boat park. This provides us with added security through permanent non-invasive fencing and allows us to have a safer facility for our berth holders and visiting boats alike.”
