Swanwick Marina celebrates another successful British Motor Yacht Show

The 9th British Motor Yacht Show took place at Swanwick Marina earlier this month (15th-19th June) with exhibitors delighted with the high level of interest shown from visitors across the five-day event.
The prestigious show brought together around 50 of the world’s finest motor yachts at Premier’s Swanwick Marina, with stunning collections from the key partners; Fairline, Sunseeker and Princess joined by over 30 additional brands including first-time exhibitors Alva Yachts, Fjord, Ryck, Twisted and Sea Ray.
Sales Director, Roger Lipman, of Princess Motor Yacht Sales said: “Once again the show delivered strongly for Princess, and with the added back drop of the new sales pavilion and the stunning weather it was the perfect occasion to showcase the very best motor boats available.”
Sunseeker Southampton’s James Lumley, Sales Manager of Sunseeker Southampton commented: “The British Motor Yacht Show is special in the UK calendar as it allows us to spend time with serious buyers who really get to appreciate the quality of our product without the pressure of large crowds. We had a great show and we’re already looking forward to the 2023 event.”
Fairline also reported another successful show. Richard Bates, Managing Director of Bates Wharf said: “Each year we aim to improve the quality of the event and I’m pleased we’ve achieved that yet again. Fairline had a great show and seeing new brands exhibiting for the first time is testament to the draw that we’ve been able to create.”
Swanwick Marina’s General Manager, Graham Bristowe, added: “This year’s British Motor Yacht Show was particularly special as we also opened our brand new sales pavilion building, “The Saltings”, which will permanently house many of the brands exhibited at the show. I’m delighted to hear exhibitors reporting sales and strong interest for their products, and I’m incredibly proud of my marina team who helped make this year’s show such a success. We’re already looking forward to making next year’s tenth anniversary show the best yet.”
