Commissioned by Gosport Borough Council, the festive day will include a special seasonal market, a Christmas lights switch-on show, street entertainment and family activities.

The festive heritage market, organised by Anchored in Gosport, will feature around 40 traders, offering products ranging from bespoke jewellery and locally-made Christmas gifts to sweet treats, cakes, mulled wine and festive street food, a balloon artist and a pop-up spray-painting studio and will run from 10am to 8pm

Throughout the day there will be free, festive-themed activities, games and workshops and street entertainers, culminating in a parade, presented by Hampshire Cultural Trust on behalf of the council.

The main stage will host a variety of live entertainment throughout the day, including a closing show by local band, The Spoils, following the count-down and light switch on at 6pm.
