For over a century, Philip & Son built boats and ships at its Noss and Sandquay yards on the River Dart, including seagoing tugs, lightships for Trinity House and during the Second World War, its 600 workers produced more than 200 vessels.
On Friday 13th November, enjoy a talk and documentary film, created with Dartmouth Museum, sharing the memories of those who worked at the yards, with ship models on display. The evening will also feature a short presentation from our Noss on Dart Manager, Mike Smith CMM, exploring the marina’s history and Premier’s new development.
Taking place at The Flavel in Dartmouth from 5:30pm, tickets cost £15 and include a glass of wine or a soft drink after the screening.
