We are looking to recruit a Boatyard & Marina Operative at Universal Marina on the idyllic River Hamble.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. This is a multi-facetted role and is a great opportunity for a customer-focused individual with a flexible work ethic to join our team in a busy purpose-built marina and boatyard.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
• Proven customer service or customer facing experience
• Flexibility and adaptability to both marina and boatyard operations
• Ability to learn and use computer software systems
• “A can do" attitude and flexible approach to teamwork
• Be able to stay calm under pressure
A good knowledge of boats and experience driving plant would be desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
This role includes working outdoors in all weathers and will follow a summer & winter duty rota that will include some weekends and Bank/Public holidays.
