An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Boatyard Supervisor to join the team at Premier Marinas’ Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble.
The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. The Boatyard Supervisor must be able to build relationships with key tenants and leisure customers alike.
Key requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in managing boatyard operations and a boatyard team
- A “can-do” attitude with a flexible approach to teamwork
- A proven track record demonstrating the highest health and safety standards.
- Calmness under pressure
- The ability to motivate teams
- Experience in managing seasonal lifting and launching campaigns
- The ability to build relationships with key tenants and stakeholders
- Management of lifting assets and equipment including maintenance and statutory obligations
A comprehensive knowledge of boat lifting and experience of driving plant is essential, whilst training, where required, will be given. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Working hours
Although the role is primarily a Monday to Friday operation, flexibility and a willingness to work some weekends and Bank Holidays is required.
