We currently have a rare opportunity to recruit a full time Credit Controller based at our Head Office at Swanwick Marina.

This is a varied and busy role that would suit somebody that is highly organised, customer-focused and enjoys working in a multi-tasking credit control role. You will be part of a centralised Finance function reporting to the Senior Credit Controller and Finance Manager. You will work closely with our Estates, Sales and Marina teams, providing accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable and finance administration.

Roles and responsibilities will include but not restricted to:

  • Administration and processing of the Debt Collection Process including invoicing, receipting, DD processing and reminder letters
  • Calling customers to chase outstanding amounts. Handle customer account queries by telephone and email
  • Ensuring accurate accounting records are kept for all tenants and the collection of all rents and service charges
  • Processing contract terminations, contract transfers and other contract changes as necessary in accordance with group policy.

The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience and can build strong relationships, have negotiation and influencing skills with communication skills. It would be preferable to have previous experience in contract administration, although training will be provided. They will be a team player, flexible to change, accurate and numerate and a good communicator.
