Spring is finally here, and we are already enjoying the longer, lighter days and seeing more of you down at the marina. The last year has seen several major investment projects into our facilities, services and digital assets and we look forward to further development projects over the 2025 season.

Getting ready for the summer
Our team has been working tirelessly over the winter to get the 2025 pressure washing campaign complete and have now successfully finished, ready for the busier boating season ahead. We will soon be taking delivery of 15 additional marina trolleys and 12 new pontoon safety ladders and have recently repaired the potholes on Crableck Lane.
Our boatyard team are also hard at work clearing space in the top boatyard to provide additional parking for the summer.

Celebrations for Rona Sailing Project
The Rona Sailing Project is a charity based at Universal Marina running inclusive Sail Training Voyages (STVs) for diverse young people, school and youth groups and groups of vulnerable adults and young people. Last month, Rona celebrated the naming ceremony of their new training yacht,
James Myatt. Project Director Sarah Woodman commented: “We were delighted to welcome James Myatt’s family and former Trustees of his Memorial Fund to officially name our new Moody 36, ‘James Myatt’. It was a happy and memorable day full of joy and sunshine and wonderful for the guests to be able to see what James’ legacy will create.”
Full details about the event can be found on the Rona Sailing Project Facebook page.
