Mariners are advised that there is a planned underwater inspection of the Brighton RNLI Lifeboat Station, during daylight hours on 15th & 16th January 2026.

The operations will be carried out by “DiveCo.” directly from the lifeboat station pontoon, where the Alpha Flag will be displayed. 

All vessels wishing to proceed past the RNLI Lifeboat Station should keep as wide a berth as possible and at a slow speed, maintaining a listening watch on VHF Channel 80.

Vessels are advised to proceed with caution when navigating in this area. Ahead of their passage, mariners may also request shipping information from Brighton Marina on VHF CH37/80 or by telephone on (+44)1273 819919
