Confirmed sighting of a part submerged shipping container and associated floating debris including pallets recived at 10:40hrs Tuesday 13th January 2026. Position given as just west of the harbour entrance, approximately 50mtrs from shore.
Mariners are advised to keep a good lookout and report sightings to HM Coastguard on VHF CH16 and Sovereign Harbour on VHF CH17.
Mariners may contact Sovereign Harbour on VHF Channel 17 for advice.
