Vessel exclusion area for Airbourne from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th August 2026
The flight display line will be marked from the pier to holywell with a line of buoys.
Seaward of this will be 7 x spherical yellow buoys. All craft are required to stay at least 50 metres seaward of the safety line of yellow buoys.
The flying of drones is strictly forbidden during the airshow. Any infringement will result in suspension of flying and be subject to prosecution by the CAA.
Safety boats sonora, shearwater & a jet ski will patrol the buoyed area and will be on channel 73 for intership communication and information.
Jet skis are reminded to navigate with caution and at a safe speed at all times and not to encroach into the exclusion area. Failure to do so risks prosecution.
All vessels within the limits of the harbour are required to maintain a listing watch on VHF CH17 for lock and bridge control. All mariners are reminded to passage plan accordingly. Tide times and likely top up times are available from the harbour office.
